“It is clear that the community of the Limestone Coast is passionate about the need for a Radiation treatment services in the Limestone Coast. I applaud their commitment to this cause and their determination to see this proposal delivered.”
“I am aware that the State Government is currently working to determine if radiation equipment is an economically viable solution in the Limestone Coast. I am fully supportive of this equipment if it is a sustainable model that will deliver the specialised care that is required for people needing cancer treatment.”
“I want our region to have access to the high-quality medical services without having to travel long distances. I am hopeful that the delivery of radiation treatment in Mount Gambier is found to be a sustainable solution for all of those who may need it. I understand that previous Governments have said no to this service, so we need to understand why.”
