The South Australian Government, through the Department of Human Services, is offering grant funding for initiatives that promote a more inclusive South Australia for people with disability.
Grant funding will be available in two tiers:
Tier 1: Up to $20,000 delivered over 12 months
Tier 2: Up to $100,000 delivered over 24 months.
There will be two grant rounds within the 2025–2026 financial year.
4th December 2025 (with multiple funding rounds each year)
This program aims to give small remote, rural and regional communities across Australia the opportunity to access funds for a broad range of initiatives that directly and clearly benefit local communities.
There are two tiers of funding available:
Small grant projects: Up to $10,000
Larger leverage projects: Up to $50,000

Providing access to funding for the development of sustainable, functional, inclusive and fit-for-purpose active recreation and sport facilities that meet the current and future needs of the South Australian community. The Community Recreation and Sport Facilities Program will assist eligible organisations to develop infrastructure that directly addresses demonstrated need and supports participation through the rational development of good quality projects.

The Enabling Infrastructure Program consists of grants for infrastructure planning or projects or that strengthen and build strong regional communities.
A total of $5 million is available under the program for 2025–26 in 2 streams:
Stream 1 – Infrastructure:
Grants for infrastructure projects.
Funding will be considered for projects that are investment ready, will commence within 6 months and be completed within 2 years from execution of the funding agreement.
Stream 2 – Infrastructure planning:
Grants for planning to provide for project readiness, including activities such as:
needs assessments
feasibility studies
stakeholder engagement
risk and cost-benefit analyses
business case development (including concept or detailed design)
implementation planning.
Funding will be considered for planning of infrastructure projects where planning will commence within 3 months of execution of the funding agreement and completed within one year of execution of the funding agreement.

The State Government is investing $73 million to support farmers affected by drought in SA –
The package has been designed in direct consultation with primary producers, including roundtables with farmers and key industry bodies.
This support is available to all drought- affected communities in SA, and is in addition to the $18 million announced in November 2024.
There are also a range of ongoing state and Commonwealth government supports available based on need.

The Powering Business Grants support eligible South Australian small and medium businesses and not-for-profit organisations to invest in energy efficient equipment or improvements to reduce and manage energy use and costs.

Event organisers and businesses are invited to start planning to apply for the $400,000 Drought Relief Regional Event Fund to host events in South Australia’s drought-affected regions.
The Fund aims to provide financial support to events which will engage community, foster connection, drive visitation, and support resilience in regions hardest impacted by drought.
The Fund will allocate sponsorship from $25,000 to $75,000 per event provided as a single year agreement.

Round 4 of the Regional Capability Community fund is open! This program re-imburses between $300 - $5000 to farmers and farming businesses to purchase equipment to support the safe use of Farm Fire Units (FFU)
Additionally, the fund will re-imburse approved water tank purchases – up to $10,000. This will allow for the purchase of a minimum 22,000 L tank, fire service fittings and other items used for firefighting.

The Australian Government is inviting eligible organisations to apply for grant funding to commemorate the service and sacrifice of Australia’s service personnel who served in wars, conflicts and peace operations, including National Service personnel and their families.
Community Grants up to $10,000 are available for local, community-based projects and activities.
Major Grants between @10,001 and $150,000 are available for major commemorative projects and activities that are significant from a national, state, territory and/or broader regional perspective.
We know the Cost of Living is putting added pressures on singles and families.
If you have a Health Care card/Pension card, or earn less than $70,000 (before tax) as a single or less than $100,000 (couples) – you may be eligible for a No Interest Loan (NIL)
These loans are for a maximum of $3000 and can be used to buy electrical appliances, furniture or car repairs – or even pay the bond on a new rental.
